Greetings everyone,

We are blessed to have a great opportunity to raise new money for YOKE this year by selling weekly admission passes to the Knoxville Open Golf Tourney slated for June 16-22. The passes cost $25.00 and EVERY DOLLAR WE RAISE IN TICKET SALES IS OURS TO KEEP. That’s right, every dollar! So if we sell 100 passes we raise $2,500. If we sell 200 we raise $5,000, etc. What if we sold 500 passes? That would be $12,500!!! Right now there are 10 other Knoxville Charities signed up to sell passes so the market is wide open…especially in Blount and Jefferson counties where “we are the only game in town”.

The only rules we need to follow are:

• Passes can ONLY be sold for $ 25.00 (not more or less)
• Passes cannot be sold on or after June 16 when the tourney begins
• MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO YOKE YOUTH MINISTRIES

We have requested 250 already passes and they will be available at the YOKE office by the first week of May (and we can get more when we need them). In the meantime we can go ahead and pre-sell them. I have attached a flyer that you can post at work, church, your favorite golf course, your car window, or just about any place you think will help us sell passes. If you want people to contact you directly just change the contact info on the flyer. If people want to pay with a credit card they can do so online at www.yokeyouth.com.

Some final notes about this opportunity…

If a person buys 4 passes we will give them 1 free.
If someone doesn’t want to purchase passes ask if they would like to make a tax deductible donation to the ministry.
If you want to volunteer some of the tourney while wearing a YOKE T-shirt just go to www.knoxvilleopen.com and sign up. Please be aware that there is a $30 cost recovery fee payable to the Knoxville Open to participate as a volunteer.
Day passes will be sold each day of the event for $11 and the purchaser will be asked to designate one of the participating charities to receive the $11. Let’s spread the word and ask people to pick YOKE.

Hopefully, this fundraiser will help us with over $1,200 in unfunded Camp scholarships which helped send 28 needy kids to Camp the last 3 weekends. Thank you in advance for any support you can give to this effort. If you have questions, please give me a call and let’s spread the word.
