If you know YOKE, you know we are always looking for great team members to staff our clubs.  The YOKE staff knows no “off season” in recruiting.  Just like a football coach and his staff are always watching films and visiting high schools looking for the next Peyton Manning, YOKE is always looking our next great leader to join the team.

In addition to August and September, January and February are key recruiting months. As a new semester begins, new class schedules force some volunteers to change clubs or even take a break from ministry, leaving us with a few new openings for motivated recruits. Our staff is once again on the recruiting trail meeting students at the UT BCM, the MSAC at Carson Newman, the EAC at Johnson U, or various local churches. We’ve even identified some 5 star recruits from their social media profiles!

This past weekend reminded us that you never know where God will open the next door.  While at a Super Bowl party one of our YOKE staff got into a conversation with a student from Carson Newman and, wouldn’t you know it, the topic of YOKE came up!  While other people were scooping up nachos, watching the Falcons epic collapse and rating Super Bowl commercials, one student was getting connected to a life changing ministry opportunity. Now he’s visiting clubs and getting plugged into a team.

Whether you live in Knox, Blount, Anderson, Jefferson or Grainger County, there are still opportunities for you to get connected to our team. If you’d like to know more, or if you know someone who would make a great addition to our team, let us know by using the response form below.  We’d love to talk with you and help get you connected. There is no off season for YOKE! The kids and schools are waiting – jump in with us in time for the spring semester!
